Will Smith grabbed two awards for male movie star and male action star of the year, while Reese Witherspoon nabbed fave female movie star. "This year I won an award for having a baby throw up on me," Reese said, referring to her role in Four Christmases. At least she got a pretty prize out for it!
Katy's Call out
By now the whole world knows that Katy Perry's flying solo, but now she's looking to her fans for company! As part of this year's "My Grammy Moment," Katy will perform with contest-winning videos of her fans singing "I Kissed A Girl." She's nominated for best female pop vocals, so Katy lovers better practice if they want a shot at singing backup. To enter, fans need to upload 30-60 second clips of themselves before midnight on February 6 atwww.cbs.com/grammys. The winning vids will be voted on by the public and will air as part of Katy's Grammy!
"I am very excited to be a first-time Grammy nominee and new Recording Academy member this year, and even more thrilled to perform on music's biggest stage in February," Katy says, according to People. "I'd love to share my first Grammy experience with all my fans, so I encourage you to submit your videos now!" Good luck, girls!
A new GG?
We know it's to be expected that our favorite Upper East Siders would have tons of celeb acquaintances, like Olympian Nastia Liukin and socialite Tinsley Mortimer. However, we just didn't expect someone like…wait for it…Nicole Richie to grace Gossip Girl like the rest of 'em! Nicole is in talks to appear on the GGfinale, but don't expect her and Blair to be insta-BFFs. "Nicole loves Gossip Girl, and she wants a really beeyatchy, juicy role," a friend of Nicole's tells the NY Daily News. Nothing is set in stone yet, but we'd love to see another headband-flying fight involving Blair -- maybe Nicole will wear some House of Harlow designs for the occasion!
Facebook Frenemies
New year, new drama -- especially when it comes to old celeb feuds. Lily Allen and Katy Perry's drama is heating up -- as if Katy didn't have enough on her plate since her recently blogged about breakup. Katy started the tension between the two singers when she explained herself as "A fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinnier version of Lily Allen," which later defended to Us Weekly saying, "Yeah, I made a joke about [that] earlier this year. I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously."
But Lily wasn't aware that Katy saw herself as a stand-up comic. She is threatening to reveal a super secret detail about Katy's life if KP doesn't stop yapping to the press about her. "I have Katy Perry's number. I'm just waiting for her to open her mouth one more time -- then it hits Facebook." KP better change her digits fast!
Lily's already actively Katy-hating online. She joined the "I hate Katy Perry and her dumb song 'I Kissed A Girl'" and "Katy Perry? Who does she think she is?" groups on Facebook. Where's Travis when you need him!
